According to the latest news, the beneficiary of DDA housing schemes 2014 is unhappy with the site location and size of flats. The Urban Development Ministry said that about 8,400 allottees have surrendered their flats under DDA Housing Scheme 2014.
The allottees of the scheme have surrendered these flats because they did not like the location or flats or did not find the built-up area sufficient. The DDA had launched this scheme in 2014 and in September last year rolled out nearly 25,000 flats via a lottery system in suburban areas including Dwarka, Rohini and Narela.
According to the information, the allottees of the scheme 2014 have surrendered these flats due to the poor construction but the development agency said that it did not receive any complaint of poor construction or quality. The minister said that the reason of surrender of flats is not clear.
