Today 19 June 2017, The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu has launched the Urban Housing Scheme in Vijayawada during an occasion. In this scheme, about 1,20,000 houses would be constructed in 38 towns for urban poor.

Further, he informed that about 38,000 houses would be added under Urban Housing Scheme, which will be completed in next 2 years.

He said that the state government is also planning to construct shops for the convenience of the people and also provide employment in the society.

He claimed that about thousands of crores fund were misused by the previous government in the name of housing for poor. He said TDP government is focusing on enabling the availability of commodities within the society.
