BDA (Bhopal Development Authority) has come up with a new housing scheme i.e. ‘Katara Hills Housing Scheme 2017’. The Bhopal Development Authority has invited the application for unreserved vacant residential plots having an area ranging from 968.4 sq. feet to 2367.2 sq. feet.
On Tuesday, the government has approved the construction of 117,814 more affordable housing units for urban poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in six states at a total expense of Rs 5,773 crore along with the central assistance of Rs 1,816 crore.
The Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) will focus on the construction of affordable housing in the next financial year. The Chief Executive Officer of Bhopal Development Authority Neeraj Vashishtha said that the BDA will construct about 5,000 affordable housing units in the next financial year at an expense of about 200 Crore.
