CHB Chandigarh to Launch New Housing Scheme 2017 on 31st Jan 2017

Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has announced the launch of Aastij Housing Scheme on 31st January 2017.  The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the CHB for it.

Housing Board chairman Maninder Singh Bains informed that the last date of applying for this scheme has been set on 28 February. Under this scheme, 263 residential flats will be allotted by CHB.
In which 27 three-bedroom flats, 102 two-bedroom units, 60 one-bedroom flats under LIG, and 74 units are under EWS category. EWS category includes only one room.
Housing board has prepared a brochure for this scheme. The price of the brochure is set Rs 2,000. CHB has also decided banks. According to the board, those hostages eligible for this scheme whose land and the home was acquired under the Land Acquisition Act before October 31, 2007.
According to the board, this will be the final claim for the successful applicants when they will be involved on the behalf of board. These flats will be given on the basis of free and leasehold.
According to the board, 263 flats are allotted in the different places of the city. It includes the flats allotted in the scheme launched in sector-51 while the other flats located in other colonies of the city that are currently vacant.

Brochure for this scheme can be taken from HDFC banks of Sector 9 D, Sector -35,22,15 C, 40 D and sector-17. SBI Bank of Sector-9 D and SBP bank branch of Sector8 C.
