Delhi Development Authority may be exempted from the rule of the house in not selling for five years. DDA officials to attract buyers wants to end this kind of rule. DDA’s board meeting next month, so officials are in preparation to keep this offer in the meeting. This condition was laid to provide houses for needy people and discourage the investors in housing scheme 2016.
DDA officials also believe that five years is not experiencing the condition of selling the flat. So buyers are not taking the interest. About 40 percent of the previous scheme successful allottees have flat back. The new plan is needed to eliminate such obstacles. In the new housing scheme, the surrender flats of the previous scheme will also be included. Therefore, to attract buyers is considering to relax the rules.
Similarly, the DDA is considering to provide an exemption for applying in the new scheme and the registration amount of surrendered flat will not be forfeited. While DDA is also considering to increase the registration amount of LIG, MIG and HIG houses. But the final decision will be at the board meeting.
The DDA is set to bring its New Housing Scheme 2016 by Diwali. It will be about 12000 flats scheme, most of the flats will be included which were surrendered in the previous scheme. DDA flats to attract buyers for the big challenge.
