DDA Flat Scheme 2017 Banks May Offer Loan for Salary Account Holders
As per the news, most of the banks have decided to provide the home loan to pay the registration amount for apply DDA Flat Scheme 2017. But this loan may be provided to the only salary account holders.
After a long time, Delhi Development Authority has invited the applications for its 12000 residential flats from 30 June 2017. These flats will be available at the cost between Rs. 7.07 lakh and Rs. 1.26 crore.
In this scheme, DDA has offered LIG, MIG, HIG and Janta Flats where the LIG category people will have to pay Rs. 1,00,000 registration fee while Rs. 2,00,000 will be charged for the middle-income group and high-income group flats
This time, most banks will not provide the loan facility for all people to pay the registration fee of DDA Flat Scheme 2017. This loan facility may be offered for only salary account holders. However, most applicants got loans from banks for the registration money on a one-time payment of R 5,000 in 2014. An official of Central Bank of India said there is no loan facility for such people who do not have salary account.
This time, DDA has removed lock-in period of five years and some new rules to attract genuine buyers. According to the new rules, if a buyer surrenders his application before the draw date, no money will be deducted from his or her registration fee. If a buyer does so after the draw but before the issue of a demand letter, 25% of the registration fee will be forfeited.
If the flat is surrendered within 90 days of the issue of the demand letter, 50% of the fee would be cut. Beyond that time, the entire registration fee will be forfeited.
This statement has been given on the basis if a buyer decides to surrender the money, how will we recover the amount?. So, most of the banks have decided to provide loan only to the salary account holders for pay registration amount.
Regarding this, State Bank of India official said that many people are coming for an application form but we will give the loan to the only salary account holders.
This decision has been taken because DDA has included the forfeiture clause for non-serious buyers.
