Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to launch its New Housing Scheme 2017. About 13,000 residential flats will be by DDA under this scheme. After a delay of 2 Months, this scheme will be launched on 26 January.
In November, this scheme was given green signal, which was not disclosed, but the exact date for the launch of the scheme was further pushed back because of the demonetization drive by the central government. After completing the pending civil work and services in the colony, the possession process may start by the month of July-September.
A Senior official of DDA said that the buyers will be given about 1 month time to submit the application by completing all the formalities. The process of inspection of the application forms might take an another month. Therefore the draw result might be held in the first week of April. The flats locations are Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka, Pitampura, Sukhdev Vihar, Narela, Rohini, Jehangirpuri, Loknayakpuram, Dilshad Garden, Paschim Vihar, Bindapur and Mukherjee Nagar.
About 13,000 flats will be offered under this scheme. Out of these flats, 10,000 flats are those flats which were either surrendered or canceled under the 2014 scheme.
A senior official added that the agency has set up a committee as well which comprises of chief engineers of respective districts to look into reports on the lack of infrastructure and poor civil work in flats.
Recently a meeting was conducted in order to resolve the issues of poor approach roads, non-availability of water, and lack of other services.
