Dindigul Corporation Invites Applications for Housing Scheme
According to the latest news, the Dindigul Corporation has invited the applications from urban and rural poor to construct their an own house under the Central Government’s credit linked subsidy scheme.
As per the released news by the corporation on Saturday, the needy people will be provided home loan for construction a house. In this scheme, the beneficiaries are eligible for a 6.5 percent interest subsidy for 15 years. The subsidy will be available for a loan of Rs.6 lakhs. There will not be any subsidy to additional loan if any.
Under the scheme carpet area of houses will be up to 30 square metres and 60 square metres for economically weaker sections (EWS) and low-income group (LIG) respectively.
Besides this news, the applications are also being invited from the people belonging to poor and low-income-group. The interested applicants can get loans with interest subsidy to construct houses under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme.
Recently the scheme is to be implemented in municipalities across Tiruvannamalai district. According to the released reports, For people with Rs.3 lakh income per annum, the interest would be subsidized above 6.5 per cent for up to 323 sq. ft. of a house. For people with Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh income per annum interest would be subsidized above 6.5 per cent for constructing up to 646 sq. ft. Interested people may contact the commissioners of the respective municipality and get an application form.
