PM Awas Yojana Madhya Pradesh – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) – Housing for All is the most ambitious housing project of the Central government which was launched by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June 2015.
Under PMAY, the government has targeted to construct two crore houses across the country and no anyone will not remain without a home. PMAY Urban is not receiving the good response, while PMAY Rural work process is going well.
In the current financial year of 2017-18, the government has targeted to provide houses to the 15000 beneficiaries of Silwani Tahsil under PM Awas Yojana Madhya Pradesh.
According to the scheme, the government has released the first installment of 40-40 thousand to the 4600 beneficiaries account while the second installment has been added to the 2417 beneficiaries account. The remaining installment will be provided on the basis of previous construction report. However, these beneficiaries were selected on the basis of Socio-Economic Caste Census – 2011.
As per the norms of PMAY, the houses would be constructed in the size of 280 square meters, which includes a room, a kitchen and a hall. The construction process of these houses would be inspected by the Sarpanch and District Panchayat Officers.

In this scheme, each beneficiary will receive an amount of Rs.1.20 lakh in three installments, which will be directly transferred to the beneficiaries bank accounts.
After receiving the first installment of the scheme, the beneficiary will have to give construction proof through the photograph & location of construction for receiving the next installment. If beneficiaries misuse this amount for other purposes. In this case, installments will be canceled and the government can take legal action against the beneficiary.
