Govt. to Provide 8,500 Houses for Poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
The Central government is going to provide more than 8,500 houses in District under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. After the inspection, the development administration has started to give the final touch of the list. Along with this, a block-wise target is being set.
With changing the name of Center’s Indira Awas Yojana, it has changed the eligibility selection pattern. Now Indira Awas Yojana has been changed into the name of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In this scheme, the beneficiaries will be selected on the basis of social economical counting.
According to the new standard, the inquiry process of beneficiaries in villages have been completed. After this, now block-wise allotment is being. SC, minorities, and other people being different allocation. Around 8695 housing units will be provided for the poor in the district.
According to the scheme, about Rs.70,000/- were provided under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, But now, this amount has been increased upto Rs. 1,20,000/-.
The District Rural Development Project Director A.K Misr said that the beneficiaries have been selected in the district and information of this has been sent to the administration.
Besides this, the government has also started the online application form submission facility to reduce the rush of public. Now the interested applicants can apply online for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana from the official website of SUDA.
