Hapur Administration to Provide 440 Housing Units for Homeless Poor in District
Hapur: Good new for the homeless residents of the district, now authority is going to provide 440 houses in Lohia Awas for such poor people that do not have home in the district. In this scheme, now the district officer can provide 10 percent houses for eligible beneficiaries. With this, the MLA can also recommend 10 percent houses but the beneficiaries should be eligible. The survey process will be completed until 15th September 2016.
The administration has made some changes in Lohia Awas Yojana. Now all villages along with other villages will also eligible to get homes in Lohia Awas Yojana. About 440 houses will be built in different villages of the district. Of this, 8-8 houses will be constructed in whole villages and rest houses in other villages. These houses will be provided, such people who are living in kachcha makan and huts.
The Rural Development Agency Project Director said that the survey work is being carried out soon for houses in villages. The necessary instructions have been given to the relevant officers. The survey work will be completed until 15th September 2016. The instruction has been given to take special care of eligibility.
He said the MLA and MLC can recommend beneficiaries for ten houses. But he must come into the category of eligibility. DM can also allocate 10 percent houses to the eligible beneficiaries in the total number of housing accommodation. After preparation of the housing after getting approval from the District Magistrate may complete their construction.
