Haryana Govt. Starts (ISDS) Integrated Skill Development Scheme
Haryana Government has started a new (ISDS) Integrated Skill Development Scheme during 2015-16 and 2016-17. According to the Haryana Government there are 20,000 people working in textiles sector in Haryana. This scheme will be started in seven districts of Haryana like Panipat, Bhiwani, Hisar, Faridabad, Guragaon, Ambala and Rohtak.
The skill Development scheme training duration will be four to six months and the training would be provided by the Technical Education Department in the sector of weaving, spinning, knitting, garments, dyeing, block printing, embroidery, handloom and carpet. The cost of this skill development scheme would be paid by the Haryana Govt.
The Department has taken important steps to start the training session of this scheme soon. Under this Skill Development Scheme Rs. 500/- Registration fee per trainee would be charged and Rs. 1,000 would be given to them after the completion of training.
The Government will be provide relaxations for SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, school dropouts, persons with disability and those living Below the Poverty Line.
