Haryana Women & Child Development Department is going to launch a new housing scheme named Kamkaji Mahila Awas Yojana for working women in the state. Under the scheme, The department has decided to provide housing and day-care facility for working women near of working location.
In this regard, the Women and Child Development Department spokesman said that if any women who want comfortable housing they can contact at district deputy commissioner/district program officer and Women and Child Development Department. He said that women in urban and rural areas where jobs are available and they do not have to face any problem. so this scheme is being launched in the district Grugram, Panchkula, Jind, Sirsa, Faridabad, Rohtak(2), Hisar(2), Kurukshetra and Rewari.
He also said under the scheme Single, Widowed, Divorced, living apart, is married but whose spouse or family the same city/region to travel back / women of underprivileged sections of society are given special preference. There is a provision reservation of seats for physically handicapped beneficiaries.
He said which women are taking training and duration should not be above one year and after well settled working women the vacant will available. Under the scheme, working women with up to the age of 18 years old girls and boys up to the age of 5 years housing would be provided.
He also said that working women are entitled to the hostel facility provided metro’s consolidated monthly income should not be more than Rs. 50,000/- and Rs 35,000 in any other place. Under the scheme, the working women will not be allowed to stay more than 3 years.
