The dream of the gammers, the much awaited headset for gaming will start selling in the first quarter of 2016 and the company says that the pre-order of the same will start later in the year. The company as for not have not shared any information about the price of the product. The headset is a virtual reality head mounted display as design by Oculus VR.
“In the weeks ahead, we’ll be revealing the details around hardware, software, input, and many of our unannounced made-for-VR games and experiences coming to the Rift,” as posted on the official site. “Next week, we’ll share more of the technical specifications here on the Oculus blog.”
The headset will be based on the Crescent Bay prototype and will be featuring improved tracking system that accommodates seated and standing experiences, according to Oculus VR, along with updated ergonomics and a tweaked industrial design. This new version will be lighter and faster than its predecessors and also will include an improved tracking system to make for more seamless visuals.
One of the advantage of the Crescent Bay prototype is there will be 360-degree positional tracking features on the headset, giving risp 3D display and headphones immerse in an interactive world.
