PM Awas Yojana Unnav – The central government has made changes in three equal installments given earlier to make the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural) more transparent. The government has kept the installments three, but the funds have been separated separately.

Details of PM Awas Yojana Unnav

Two years ago, the name of the Indira Awas Yojana, operated by the Central Government, was changed to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). Under this scheme, the amount given to the beneficiaries for housing construction increased from Rs. 70 thousand to 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees.

In the last financial year where three installments of 40-40 thousand rupees were given to the beneficiaries. This time it has been modified. In the financial year 2017-18, the beneficiaries will get three installments for housing, but the money will not be the same.

Project Director DRDA Ramkrupal Choudhary has informed that the amount of installment has been amended. Now the beneficiaries will be given 40 thousand rupees as the first installment. The beneficiary from this fund will complete the construction till the foundation.

Highlights of PM Awas Yojana Unnav

After uploading its photo site, 70 thousand rupees will be given as the second installment. This money will have to be completed by the roof. After uploading the photo, the third and final installment of 10 thousand rupees will be released. In the financial year 2017-18, the district has been given the target of 12145 houses.

Most of the 7719 housing units have been issued to the SC category. Which is about 64 percent of the total target. 32 percent i.e. 3925 housing is to be allocated between the beneficiaries of General and OBC. Similarly, only 5 percent of the total target of 664 housing has been given to the minorities.

Money will be available separately in three installments

– Now the first installment will be 40 thousand, the other 70 and the last 10 thousand.
