PM Awas Yojana Uttrakhand – HUDCO will Pay Interest Subsidy

PM Awas Yojana Uttrakhand – Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), the nodal agency of Uttarakhand has signed an agreement with the Kuromanchal City Co-operative Bank.

According to the agreement, the bank will provide housing loans to the needy beneficiaries under PMAY and HUDCO will pay interest subsidy according to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Preference of Women under PM Awas Yojana Uttrakhand

This scheme is very helpful for low-income people to buy their own house or to build a new home. Under this,
the government is providing a subsidy from 2.20 lakh to 2.65 lakh.

If a person’s annual income is less than six lakh rupees then he will get 6.5 percent subsidy on bank loan interest and 4 percent subsidy on annual income less than Rs 12 lakh will be available in interest. The benefit of this scheme will be available to those people who have taken residential loan after July 1, 2015.

Priority is being given to the women under PM Awas Yojana Uttrakhand. The HUDCO has also done an agreement with Nainital Bank. The National Housing Bank is the Pradhan Mantri Nodal Agency in the state.
