PMAY Uttar Pradesh – 10 Lakh Houses to be Built in 2017

PMAY Uttar Pradesh: On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced to construct 10 lakh affordable houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

Chief Minister informed that about 48 lakh people are living without the home in rural areas in Uttar Pradesh. He also said that the state government is trying to build 10 lakh houses within next 12 months for poor people under PMAY Uttar Pradesh.


Besides, CM said that the Central government will provide employment opportunity for the youth of Uttar Pradesh under Skill Development Programme. In this programme, the government will train 10 lakh youngsters this year and the target is to train 70 lakh youth in next five years.


According to the plan, the state government will provide two rooms home at just Rs. 2 lakh. The government will construct four storey apartments for people under PMAY Uttar Pradesh. Besides, the people will get an assistance of Rs.1.5 lakh from central government and Rs. lakh from state government under the scheme.
