Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Haryana: Haryana Govt. to Start Soon PMAY Demand Survey in State

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Haryana Government will conduct a survey in the district soon to provide ‘housing for everyone’. For this survey, representatives of YASC Consulting Services Agency gave information about the scheme in the meeting held at the Municipal Office.

In the meeting organized under the chairmanship of Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Amit Khatri, the agency’s Managing Director Sanjay Gupta said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Urban Local Body Department, Haryana is going to cover the whole state. This survey will be started soon in the districts of Guru ram, Pataudi, Sohna, Helimandi and Pataudi.

Under the survey, beneficiaries of the scheme have to apply. Giving information about the eligibility of the scheme, he said that firstly the beneficiary should have Aadhaar card. No member of the beneficiary or any of his family members should have any permanent house in any place in the country. A house or empty plot built by it should be owned by the name of its own and the beneficiary has not previously taken advantage of any housing scheme of Central and State Government.

He told that the annual income of the economically weaker section should be up to Rs 3 lakh, For the lower classes, annual income of Rs 3 to 6 lakhs, 12 to 18 lakh rupees for the middle class has been determined. He told that the beneficiary should be the native of the state. He said that under the scheme, the survey teams will conduct slum area and ward wise survey. The meeting was attended by senior Town Planner of Municipal Corporation, Sudhir Chauhan, City Project Officer Mahend, Pataudi, Haily Mandi, Sohna and Farukhnagar municipalities.
