Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council has added a total of 2460 flats of different schemes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas yojana in Ghaziabad division. In addition to the Mandla circle shelter, apart from Siddha, Ganga, Hindan and Yamuna Yojna under Siddhartha Vihar Yojna, apart from Shikhar Enclave, Brahmaputra Yojna and EWS flats in Vasundhara Sector-4C are included. The most important thing is that there are 90% of them houses which are not sold for any reason. Additional Housing Commissioner Mahendra Prasad said that the department is considering starting the process of application from May 25. The applicant of the flat in this scheme will be linked to the Aadhaar number. It will be able to apply the same, which have not taken advantage of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme earlier. It includes MI-1 and MI-2 categories.
After several Meetings
Housing Development Council had been troubled by the flats which were not sold in its plans. In such a scenario, the Council decided to include all the remaining flats in the Pradhan Mantri Awas yojana in all those schemes. Several rounds of meetings were held with the housing commissioner.

Four Percent Exemption for 12 Lakh Per Annum Income
Under this scheme, the people who earn 12 lakh rupees annually, they will get a discount of 4% on the amount of 9 lakh rupees in the loan for buying a house. For example, if someone bought a house of 25 lakh rupees and took a loan of Rs 20 lakh, then it would have to pay full interest on the loan of 11 lakh rupees, but on the interest of the remaining nine lakhs, it will get 4 percent subsidy. For example, if he got a loan at 9 percent rate, then he has to pay only 5 percent for nine lakh rupees. The condition for him would be so much that he bought the house for 90 square meters.
Three Percentage Exemption for 18 Lakh Per Annum Income
The second category has been made of the annual income of Rs 18 lakhs. Such people can take advantage of this subsidy by buying houses up to 110 sqm. Such people will get a discount of 3 per cent interest on loans of Rs.12 lakhs.If he has taken a loan at an interest rate of 9% then he will have to pay interest only 6% for 12 lakh rupees of the loan amount.
