The state government of Rajasthan has launched Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana for the poor people of the state. Under this scheme, the Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) will construct 5,000 residential flats in Udaipur Rajasthan. The preparation of the construction of these residential flats in Udaipur under this housing scheme has been started by UIT. These flats will be provided to the families of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
This year, the construction work of 5000 flats under Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana will be started by the UIT. Under this scheme, flats will be constructed at north Udaipur area in Rajasthan. The secretary of UIT, Ramnivas Mehta said that the UIT has selected the place where the flats have to be constructed under Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana Rajasthan.

The flats under this scheme will be allotted through a lottery draw. The UIT will complete the lottery draw process till June 2019.
The Chairman of UIT, Mr. Ravindra Shremali said that recently UIT has released the lottery for 640 houses for Economically Weaker Sections in Rajasthan. UIT (Urban Improvement Trust) will also construct 512 houses for Low Income Group (LIG) people also under Mukhyamantri Jan Awas Yojana.
The construction work of these flats will be completed by the year 2019. The Rajasthan Government has initiated this scheme to provide an affordable housing to all the poor homeless people of the state.
