Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Authority (UPAVP) has prepared the final costing of its most popular Brahmaputra Housing Scheme. Section 16 and 27 wings of the Vasundhara circle have been sent to the superintendent engineer of the circle for the final approval.

According to official sources, the price of flats in the final costing has increased by 2.5 to 3 lakh rupees. However, the local officer is still not ready to tell anything.

Vasundhara circle head K.S. Singhal said that the possession letters are expected to be issued in May. Final costing will be stamped by the end of this month.

The authority had invited the applications for the registration under Siddhartha Vihar Yojana in 2013 and 2016. Under the scheme, the estimated cost of a flat was kept around 14 lakh.

As a result, about 50,000 applications had been received in this scheme, which took 2 months to scrutinize. It was the most successful scheme in the history of the authority till date, in which the most applications were received.

Under this scheme, the flats were to be allotted in 2015. But now the position is being given. In this scheme, the flats have been constructed in sector 7 and 10 of the scheme.

According to the property wing, the allottees will have deposit the final payment with documents within one month from the issuance of the demand letter. Those who will deposit the amount with documents after due date then they will get a penalty.
