Uttar Pradesh Government is going to provide 24,000 houses under Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. These houses will be provided to the natural disaster affected people and those people who are living in disruptive houses. Besides, those people can also take the benefit of this scheme who are not included under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana
Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get an amount of Rs. 1.20 lakh to construct a house in the size of 25 square meters with 12 months. This amount will be provided in the three installments. Besides, the government will also provide an amount of Rs 1.30 lakh to the beneficiaries who are living in the Naxal-affected districts like Chandauli, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra.
The government will also provide 90 days wages to the beneficiaries families under MNREGA in normal districts and 95 days wages in Naxal affected districts. The will also construct a toilet in each house under Swachh Bharat Mission.
The Government has targeted to provide housing to all the families of Balrampur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Siddharthanagar, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Fatehpur and Chitrakoot districts under Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. In addition, 4,384 villages people will also get houses who are included under Gram Swaraj Yojana.
According to the plans, these houses will be provided to the only natural disaster affected and those people who are living in disruptive houses in Uttar Pradesh. Total 24000 houses will be given to these people who are living in these districts. The deprived people of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will get houses under this scheme.
