Yogi Govt. to Provide 6150 Houses under PMAY for Poor in Uttar Pradesh

According to the latest news, the state government of Uttar Pradesh is going to provide 6150 houses to the poor in the state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). After closing of the Lohia Awas Yojana of the previous government by the Yogi government as per 2011 social, economic and cast census. Now poor people are looking forward this scheme.

Under the scheme, the government will give 40-40 thousand rupees in the form of three installments to the beneficiaries. The action is being taken to send money through BDO dongles in the account of selected 6150 beneficiaries.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is the most ambitious scheme of the Central government. However, the government had targeted to construct 3500 houses under PMAY in the financial year 2016-17. For this, the department has made a list of beneficiaries under the 2011 Census. Besides, the money has also been sent from the government at t rate of 1.20 lakh per house.

After submitting the list of beneficiaries by the project director, the first installment of the 40 thousand rupees is being sent by the Block Development Officer.

The second installment will be given only when the beneficiary will get the foundation of the foundation by digging the foundation. After raising the wall with the money from the second installment, the third installment will be released for the client only after uploading the photo.

With this, the District Panchayat Raj Department has to provide the toilets to the beneficiaries of all the houses. Meanwhile, the government sanctioned three thousand more housing for this year. For this, the department has once again started to complete homework. For this, all the Block Development Officers have been issued instructions that they prepare the complete list within 15 days and make it online.
