The Delhi Development Authority is ready to launch its new housing scheme 2017 for 13,000 residential flats. The new housing scheme is expected to launch in this month of May.
According to the information, the scheme is likely to be approved in a meeting with DDA officials which will be chaired by the lieutenant governor in the third or last week of this month. The applying procedure of the scheme will be completely online

This time DDA is offering 13,000 residential flats of one-bedrooms in LIG and Janta flats while only 350 flats of two-room are available for middle-income group (MIG)
Applicants will have to deposit the registration amount in the banks before the draw of lots for the allotment. The registration is Rs 1 lakh for one-bedroom LIG and Janta flats, and Rs 2 lakh for MIG and HIG flats
About 10,000 flats are included from its 2014 housing scheme which was surrendered by the people due to the small size and undeveloped area.
This time, DDA removes the clause of five years lock system, where people can sell these flats.
After the launch of the scheme, the buyers will be able to submit applications for a month and the scrutiny of which would take another month.
The registration amount will be forfeited in the case when the buyer will refuse to buy the flats.
These flats possession will be provided around September-October with complete services in the colonies.
According to the location, these flats are located in Sarita Vihar and Jasola in south Delhi, Dwarka in southwest, Pitampura and Rohini in northwest, Dilshad Garden in northeast, Paschim Vihar in the west and Mukherjee Nagar in the north
The agency is trying to provide complete basic facilities such as public transport connectivity and other services in the localities.
The scheme will be launched very soon and the application forms will be available at 99 branches of Bank of Baroda, 48 of Yes Bank, 118 of Axis Bank, 84 of IDBI bank , 50 of Kotak Mahindra Bank, 29 of State Bank of India, 28 of Central Bank of India and 6 of HDFC in Delhi
